Renowned for its Gargantuan breakfasts and the top-notch cuisine of chef Simone Petaro, Amélys is a must in the city centre.

Our first impressions are often right. On entering the terrace of the hotel’s Amélys restaurant, you expect to enjoy a delightful moment of relaxation and gourmandise. Surrounded by greenery and flowerbeds, the terrace seems far from the bustle of the town, yet is right in the centre. A sumptuous setting and an invitation to unwind. While many business lunches and dinners are held here, the ambiance is warm and inviting. 

The dishes account largely for the quality of the experience. Starting with breakfast of wide renown. With international guests, Le Royal caters for all different tastes. For Anglo-Saxons, hot dishes, cold meats or fish, for the French or southern Europeans, all kinds of pastries, for vegetarians and vegans, a copious buffet. A royal breakfast, one of Luxembourg’s best!

For lunch and dinner, traditional French gastronomy takes pride of place. Lunchtime suggestions change weekly with meat or fish to delight gourmets. Market-fresh oysters, “sole meunière” with almonds, specialities like a Luxembourg “bouchée à la reine” to tempt the tastebuds. A hefty Burger Royal then a Grand Cru Chocolate “Royal 72 %” to spoil real foodies, with various proposals for vegetarians. Amélys also shines for its excellent, discreet service. A wonderful address!
